As a business owner and Guitar Teacher my biggest gripe is poor customer service. Not just in my area of work but across the board.
I may be unusual but I see excellent customer service as common sense. Our job as service providers is to offer a service like no other. Being polite, kind, good at communicating and respectful are a few of the traits required to see your business succeed.
At Fresh Music Aberdeen the USP is consistency, professionalism, kindness, respect, going the extra mile and helping students reach their goals within their guitar lessons.
Relationship building is the first part, relationship maintaining is the bigger part. Taking an interest in others and doing everything you can (without overstepping your own boundaries) is what allows Fresh Music Aberdeen to offer a personable, reliable and unthreatening environment.
The art of giving a damn is vital and my experience has taught me that everyone matters. Whoever sits in the chair, no matter their background or previous experience. Everyone is welcome here, everyone will be respected and everyone will be given the same attention because that’s what makes a good business great.
Understanding the needs of the student within a guitar lessons and implementing ways to address those needs is important.
